01. Equity
Our district should be one that celebrates all students and faculty—regardless of gender, color, orientation, or ability. In order to be true champions of equity, our district has more work to do.
02. Health
As a school board member, I will fight to ensure that students are safe and healthy. The COVID-19 pandemic showed that we need to have proactive solutions and comprehensive plans that address the concerns of students, teachers and parents in the district.
03. Mental Health
We need to provide additional solutions and resources to support the mental health of our students. The growing trend of depression, anxiety, and suicide is a result of mounting pressures on our students both
academically and outside of the classroom.
04. Fiscal Responsibility
If entrusted with the budget, I’ll ensure that the board is allocating funds in our budget responsibly and prioritizing the students.
05. Early Childhood Literacy
All students deserve access to a strong foundation to begin their educational career in the Mounds View Public Schools District.
06. Post-secondary Readiness
We must ensure that all students, no matter their goal or plan after high school have the guidance and support needed to reach their goals.
